I have attended group classes run by Marcus. He explains and demonstrates exercises and moves he requires me and the other participants to undertake in a manner which is easily understood. He provides enough variety of exercise in a session to ensure I am challenged and continue to improve by fitness, balance and agility. He incorporates a full body workout in each session, followed by stretching. He works hard to make fitness training fun, different and enjoyable.

Marcus is an excellent trainer for myself and other older clients. He is patient,explains techniques and monitors form. He encourages through his positivity , desire to help, smile and feedback. I've seen Marcus training other people at NextgGen, he's clearly well liked and highly skilled. (In fact, 2 people called out compliments to him while he was working with me) So, I asked him to design a program to meet some new goals and address some issues I've been experiencing, ie wanting to train to become leaner, stronger and more flexible all while keeping my heart rate low. He enquired and listened and then walked me through a set of exercises and talked about the importance of stretching too. He's a good communicator. I'll start the program tomorrow and I'm confident I'm now on the right track. We're going to review my progress in 8 weeks and see how I'm going.

Marcus has a good sense of humour and is thoughtful and intentional at building rapport with the whole group. Good afternoon, I am pleased to give a reference for Marcus Leung. I have been attenting the gym Marcus is currently working at and have found him to be most plesant and knowelgable. I love all the classes that he has been taking. He makes the class interesting and fun with a focus on improving our overall fitness and appropirate for all ages especially the over fifties. Since taking Marcus' classes my fitness and blance has inproved, he has a good knowledge of technique. Marcus is an excellent teacher. He is knowledgeable, patient, gives very clear instructions and is extremely caring. What makes Marcus different from other trainers is his imagination and creativity. His exercise classes combine movement with physical games. His classes are always fully booked. Currently Marcus meets all my exercise needs. He always asks his students for comments and suggestions. Marcus is a professional and supportive PT instructor. He provides excellent support and thorough explanation regarding the fitness activities. Marcus facilitates exercise classes I attend for people over 50 years old. He is extremely careful to guide the class in avoiding injury yet encouraging to everyone to participate to their personal capacity. Always upbeat and talking to the class counting down the time or repetitions of exercises giving incentive to push on a little further to get greater benefit from stretching or weight work. Marcus is friendly and inclusive and you feel he is dealing with you personally even though he is working with a room full of people. I consistently attend two of his workout sessions every week, one for strength (weights & step) and the other for flexibility and balance. I highly recommend both.

Marcus is a very engaging instructor. The classes I attend a re for over 50's and Marcus tailor's the exercises for us brilliantly. He is very personable, kind patient and considerate. Since doing Marcus's Form50 classes my balance has really improved with the balance exercises that we do in class and can easily do at home. The exercises are well paced, with options to suit various fitness levels and injuries. Marcus has a similar approach in the Strength classes, taking the time to explain the muscles being used and the benefits for healthy aging. I enjoy Marcus's classes and hope to continue to improve my balance, strength and flexibility.

Marcus is a delightful instructor who really cares about improving the fitness of his clients, and ensuring that they enjoy his classes. I go to two of his classes per week and my fitness level in all respects has improved. He now takes aqua classes and others, but I will continue with his Strength 50 and Form 50 classes for the foreseeable future. Marcus is engaging, friendly, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and energetic. He completes almost all of the exercises he sets for us which feels very like we are all working together. Personally I'd like a little more cardio but I appreciate that not everyone in the class would feel the same and I can easily add cardio to my overall regime. I take two classes each week with Marcus (form and strength) and certainly intend to continue with both in the foreseeable future.

I have taken part in Marcus's Strength class at Next Gen gym for nearly 2 years and found him to be an excellent trainer. He is always polite and humorous and takes time to explain how each exercise benefits us which I like. He makes good use of the allocated time of the class so that we all feel we've had a good workout when the class time is up. He takes care of class participants and always advises us to follow the exercises at a speed and level we are comfortable with. I can't fault Marcus as a trainer and thoroughly enjoy his classes.

I attend Form50 class run by Marcus for about a year now and totally enjoy everyone of them. Marcus is a great and very considering trainer . He's is very thoughtful. In his program he considers the ability of all class participants. He is aware that the more senior people need some more help and attention to achieve better results. Marcus has been working at Next Gen as a PT, Gym Floor Instructor and Group Fitness Instructor for two and a half years. During this time, Marcus has been one of our most popular PTs. He has a careful and considered approach to his sessions. Many of Marcus' clients come to him with injuries or health issues that require careful management. Marcus has been my personal trainer for six months. I am 84 and needed help in strengthening my legs, which Marcus provided. However, he encouraged me to take a broader perspective and to see physical training as including strength, flexibility, cardio-endurance and balance. He particularly stresses warm up. Marcus is expert in the dynamics of the body and taught me things I did not know before. He is warm and good-humoured and provides the encouragement needed by somebody who is not too keen on physical training but knows that it is necessary.

When I saw Marcus Leung, for a body scan and re workout, he was amazing, he made me feel so comfortable, and when it came to talking exercise and diet he made me understand things I have not understood from others, he made me feel okay that it’s okay to Plato and that my diet needs to change and gave me ideas on what I can do to eat better but not feel bad if I have that one price of chocolate. He showed me how to change my cardio and where I can improve with my time and amount of exercise. I have never felt more comfortable and happy in one conversation.
