I am a FITREC registered personal trainer who has a long sporting background, as both a player and coach, and wishes to help more people through diversity and exciting challenges. I make my training sessions fun and functional for all ages. You will leave your training sessions knowing you have been challenged all the while feeling motivated by a great time.

Marinus has been my personal trainer since August 2016. He has been a very supportive, encouraging and flexible trainer who has taken me through a number of stages. I initially recruited his help to lose weight and tone upper body in preparation for a wedding. Then he developed a plan to improve core and back strength as well as identifying significant flexibility issues for which he provided training and at home exercises. He was also able to help me rehabilitate from a rotator cuff injury and now is continuing to train me well into my second trimester of pregnancy. The work outs are always variable and interesting, and pushes me just enough without feeling at my limits. Highly recommend!

I got to know Marinus through my certificate III in fitness work experience program. He was really welcoming from the start and would even take the time in between lessons to mentor me. I would pick the exercise I wanted to learn more about and he would demonstrate and explain, outline common mistakes and then show me exercises to give to clients to remedy those mistakes. He has a pool of knowledge he can tap into at any time. His instructions are precise, safe and humorous. During his classes there’s always a lot of joking, a relaxed atmosphere and group feeling. Even after my work experience was done I joined his boxing classes for fun. I would recommend Marinus’s classes to anyone.
