I am 48 years old and Mark Cera was my personal trainer for 18 months. With his guidance and support, I became fitter and stronger than I had ever been, and was able to move with more confidence. When I was attending his sessions, my back problems were non-existent, as he prepared a bespoke plan to strengthen my core. Mark's experience is extensive and supported by strong academic qualifications in sports science. I always felt that I was pushed at exactly the right amount to keep improving myself. I decided to approach Mark Cera two years ago to be my personal trainer. I was in my late 40’s and as a result of numerous injuries and operations on those injuries I was struggling with strength in my legs and day to day movement. As I began to work with Mark I very quickly realised that his knowledge in his field and his ability to tailor a training regime for someone that had similar needs to mine was second to none and knew exactly what exercises to give me to avoid discomfort and further injury while putting me on a pathway to recovery. My name is Tony Gashi Mark Cera became my trainer a year ago and has designed a training weekly program that he guided and trained me through and kept adjusting it as I reached certain level in my mobility and strength level . Training with him it has become part of lifestyle for my self , 54 years old , working six day a week in my retail / manufacturing business and still playing soccer after long association with the sport playing and coaching . Three of our family worked individually with Mark for over 12 months. He was observant, careful and highly skilled in creating programs to suit each of us. He always took issues like fatigue or soreness into account and modified our work as needed. At the same time he was challenging where possible. Mark earned our respect and indeed affection with his approach. He answered our questions and when faced with the rare medical condition of one of us, researched it in order to work safely. He was approachable, humane with a dry sense of humour. We knew we were in good hands and benefitted greatly. We were really sorry to lose him.

Mark Cera is an outstanding functional fitness trainer. He's really motivated by seeing you improve your strength, balance, mobility, and fitness. Mark's sessions are always tailored perfectly to your goals and body's challenges and/or injuries. I was fortunate to have Mark by my side as a friendly coach a few years back when training for a marathon. 12 weeks in, and following a 32km run, I was injured with bilateral calf tears. Mark adjusted my program radically and provided a range of recovery protocols that saw me at the start line 12 weeks later, confident that I would complete my run (maybe not quite as quickly as I had hoped!). Mark knows how to drive athletic performance and accountability in the people he coaches. His knowledge of exercise physiology ensures a focus on recovery and rehabilitation.
