A Bit About Me

I initially trained as a Strength and Conditioning Coach in order to help my own athletic endeavours. Through this process, I came to realise that many people, athletes or not, had trouble accessing good quality training advice and planning. Following a back injury, I was introduced to the Pilates approach which teaches that efficient movement is just as important as strength and fitness. After 20 + years of gaining knowledge and experience in the fields of Pilates, Personal Training and Strength and Conditioning, I opened my own studio in Camberwell. I have been operating Stable Base for over 13 years now and am enjoying using different training methods to help people achieve the best outcome possible.

It's been well over a year since I did a 10 session course with you so you might not remember me. I just wanted to express my gratitude for the benefits I have since reaped for my running. I no longer have 'redundant gluts' as you so expertly put it and since correcting my running style I have run most of this year not only injury free, but doing record times. I'm 42 now and I never thought I'd be able to break 40 mins for the 10km but I'm getting within seconds of doing this. The last time I was able to get anywhere near that time was 10 years ago! There is no doubt in my mind that the principles you emphasise have been largely responsible (and maybe the 2XU's!).
